Central Denmark i-Facilitator

In 2009, Innovayt was engaged by Central Denmark EU Office as partner in a project aimed at mobilising companies from the Central Denmark Region to participate in EU funding programmes for research and innovation.

For the remainder of 2009, more than 400 companies from the region were identified as relevant to the programmes, out of which 112 had concrete project ideas. Innovayt conducted meetings with all 112 companies, taking the role of advisor and facilitator, presenting possible funding opportunities and providing companies with necessary tools and knowledge for the application writing process. 65 ideas were validated as having potential for EU funding.

As a direct result of the first i-Facilitator project for Central Denmark, 11 EU applications were submitted during 2009 and early 2010; 7 were approved, and EU funding of more than 6.5 Million Euro was granted for Central Denmark companies and institutions.

Building on this success, Innovayt has continued its fruitful cooperation with the Central Denmark EU Office in 2011 and 2012. In the most recent i-Facilitator project, the partners are looking to continue the impressive results achieved, and to anchor the knowledge gained on European funding programmes further among the Central Denmark partners.
